Steps
Combine all ingredients in a blender or a food processor and blend until smooth, scraping down the sides in between. Add more almond milk if needed to help blend.
Taste test it to see if you prefer more chocolate flavor (add more cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon at a time), more sweetness (add a splash of maple syrup) or more vanilla. Blend until smooth.
Transfer to an airtight container for storing. Refrigerate for up to 4 days. Serve chilled with coconut whipped cream or your favorite toppings.

JustAmom on 2026-06-16 (4 stars): Well I really liked it! My kids and husband on the other hand did not lol. I was actually pretty surprised they didn’t because I thought it was pretty good!
Katie on 2026-06-14 (5 stars): 100/10! Absolutely incredible and could fool even the toughest healthy dessert critic!
Julie S on 2026-04-09 (5 stars): I’m sold! Hubby has super tasing powers (always has) and didn’t mind it but would rather eat the avocados plain (not a fan at all of plain avocados for my part, altho I like guac and avocado toast). It’s also good the a little pb, and I’d definitely like to try it with banana. I diced up strawberries to put on top and that took it up a notch as well, but it’s really good all on its own. I used cacao and did not add any additional sweetener, and rather like the less sweet taste. Also, do NOT forget the vanilla. I almost did and it’s night and day difference (altho, I was sold before realizing and adding it in). Who knew?
Now I have another use for too many avocados besides slicing and throwing in freezer for smoothies.
Stephanie on 2026-03-28 (5 stars): This was super easy to make and delicious. I wish I had the hemp seeds in my pantry.
Kimberley on 2026-03-18 (5 stars): As a breastfeeding mum i need all the nutrients i can get, and this is great for curbing my sweet tooth. I added a banana into the pudding and chopped nuts on top. Lovely and healthy. Thanks for this recipe
Cindy on 2026-01-26 (4 stars): This was really good! We did get a strong avocado taste before the chocolate flavor kicked in, but that was fine. I’m making it again with more vanilla & cocoa.
KRISTI L BRANNEN on 2025-11-16 (5 stars): This is quick easy and delicious. I would recommend making this for a healthier version of a dessert
Marcia L Hall on 2025-10-26 (5 stars): I used this as a basic outline for making it w one of my HUGE. Fl avocados. One avocado, increased 1/4 c measurements to 1/3, used oat milk and powdered vanilla with 1T. brown sugar. YUM! Made a quart!
Added oatmilk to traces left in the blender and ended up w delicious chocolate oat milk also.
Thank you!
Maria on 2025-09-20 (5 stars): Definitely can't taste the avocado. Like at all. I usually add a chunk of plain tofu to make it higher protein and extra thick. My avocadoes are always soft and ripe. That's the key. Add enough cocoa powder and a bit of monkfruit powder. Hides the avocado taste completely.
Tara on 2025-08-09 (5 stars): Tried it and it tasted good. It's definitely an acquired taste though. Only thing mine was a bit thin. I was thinking to put less milk next time. I used coconut milk same measurement as instructed.
Rachel F. on 2025-07-26 (5 stars): I was a little doubtful at first, but holy cow! It tastes great and has the consistency of pudding!! Bravo!
