Product Manager Interview Experience at PharmEasy βοΈ One of the most challenging processes I went through during my job hunt. This interview tested me across technical, business, data, and strategy lenses. π How I got the interview? Through a referral. π Interview Rounds Round 1 β Technical Round - Past experience - Understanding of the product funnel Round 2 β Business Round - Explore the PharmEasy app β identify where to personalise so users buy from new categories (Wellness / Supplements) - Recommendations to add on the cart page to increase conversions Round 3 β Data Round - Metrics calculation from my previous role - Live problem-solving on Excel (using functions to extract data) Round 4 β CPO Round - Case study: If riots break out in your area, how would you stop and prevent them from spreading? Round 5 β Director Level Round - Case study: For Swiggy/Zomato, what is one thing you would do on the cart page (apart from coupons and without copying competitors) to get people to add more items, with no extra budget? π Outcome I was offered the role. π My takeaway This was the toughest interview process I faced because it evaluated me from every possible angle: product sense, execution, data depth, and strategic thinking. It reminded me that PM roles often require you to think like multiple teams at once. π Why Iβm sharing this When I was job hunting, I wished I had detailed breakdowns like this to prepare better. Thatβs why Iβm documenting my experiences to make the path clearer for others. π‘ More interview stories coming soon. #interviews #jobhunt #productmanagement #pmjobs #experience #PharmEasy | 18 comments on LinkedIn
