Steps
Mix all the spices together in a small bowl. Add the cornstarch and mix to incorporate.
When making tacos I mix 1 to 2 tablespoons of the taco seasoning with a pound of cooked ground meat. I tend to use little less for turkey than I do for beef.
After you've browned the meat, sprinkle with the taco seasoning and add about a cup of water and some lime juice. Mix well. Cook for about 10 minutes or until the sauce starts to thicken.

Dea on 2019-08-26 (5 stars): Wow exactly what I needed it was perfect! I always buy the taco seasoning because I think I couldn't make it as good at home but I don't like some weird ingredients that I would rather not use. Great recipe!
Jennifer on 2019-08-23 (5 stars): Oh, the cocoa really adds a depth of flavor to this handy spice blend. We have a regular Taco Tuesday night at our house, so I doubled the recipe to have extra since we will use it up quickly.
