Julie O on 2026-06-25 (5 stars): This easy tofu recipe has become a regular one for me when I’m lazy.
Flora on 2026-04-15 (4 stars): I’m trying to shake my addiction to a very heavy tofu marinade of onion powder, garlic powder, toasted sesame oil, smoked paprika, agave, rice vinegar, and lots of soy sauce. This dish is not that, but the mild umami flavor and the crispy coating give comforting chik’n vibes. I’ll be making this again.
The sprinkling and coating process is a little awkward, but there is value in adding the tamari first then the oil. Next time I think I’ll try nestling the slices together for the initial tamari application and oiling, then maybe dredging them in the nooch.
Mat on 2026-04-12 (5 stars): This was lovely. I make the basic baked Tofu from
AFR all the time and this is a nice addition to rotation.
Really good to have in the fridge as a topper/filling for something.
