Sha on 2025-09-09 (5 stars): I saw this recipe and smiled after having many Doubletree cookies! Going to make these today but use pecans as not a fan of walnuts!
Jason Slaughter on 2025-07-11 (5 stars): It’s a wonderful recipe that goes together quickly. The instructions are precise and not missing any steps. I use salted butter and I weigh each of the ingredients. Nothing but compliments every time. I wish I could take credit for it.
Carley on 2025-04-24 (5 stars): Best cookie I have ever had! This will be my new go-to recipe
Rachel on 2024-09-29 (5 stars): I make these for the first time today and they're delicious! I preheated my oven to 350, just assuming that was the required temperature, then reduced the temperature right before baking when I discovered the difference in this recipe. My oven was definitely preheated to 350 (it had been at least 10-15 minutes after the beep that indicates it's hit temperature) so I was shocked to find that after 15 minutes at 300 the cookies looked completely raw and pale. I ramped the temperature back up to 350 and they looked perfect after another 5 minutes with the increased temperature. I baked the next batch for 15 minutes at 350 and they were also perfect. I am refrigerating the rest of my dough so I can bake them fresh as needed, and am curious how they might taste after an additional 1-3 days of the dough chilling in the fridge.
