Dreamhawk on 2026-07-16 (5 stars): I did make it and loved it. I'm a guy, but I love to cook and although usually very country/rustic in my dishes, I have also been known to be a bit of a gourmet when the urge hits me.
I made your dipping oil recipe and really liked it a lot. But me bring me, the 2nd time I made it I branched out a tiny bit. I backed off the balsamic by ½ as for me, a little balsamic goes a long way. So then I added a small palm full of "butter garlic" to the batch, I was really pleased with the result! Maybe give it a shot!

Karen on 2026-05-26 (5 stars): I love this recipe and will definitely make again (I included 1T dry mix with oil, parm and garlic as directed). However, perhaps add the kosher salt at the end, instead of in the dry mix. I found that when I mixed 1T dry mix to oil, I must have scooped up more salt in the tablespoon, which made the dipping oil very salty. Just a thought.

Stephen B on 2026-02-06 (4 stars): Good base BUT I would warn against the fresh garlic. I only used 1 teaspoon and I found it way too much. It overshadowed the herbs. I would also decrease herb mix amount to one teaspoon per 1/4 C olive oil to start. You can always add more …
