Avir on 2026-04-26 03:29:51 (5 stars): Been using this how to guide in cooking quinoa. And always turn out great. Nutty and not soggy. Pair it with tasty adobo or mix it with your salad and even with red or brown rice. It adds crunch and nutty taste. I am dependent on this recipe. Thanks.

Andreea on 2025-12-31 04:11:35 (5 stars): This is my booked, written down, and best cooking quinoa method. Thank you! I have used it again and again since I found it. Fluffy and spot on.
I always rinse the quinoa before boiling, same as rice cooking. Some quinoa are bitter and this removes some of that bitterness.
I always remove the foam when it boils, and before putting the lid onm
I prefer chopsticks instead of fork, for fluffing it. It works so much better!
And I add the olive oil when it is just warm, and I leave it as suck until it is cold, so I can then add the rest of the salad ingredients tk it.
Thank you, again! :)
L on 2025-11-15 18:23:22 (5 stars): It is 1+3/4 cups of water (so a liile under 2 cups). Comes out just right.
stacy king on 2025-10-27 17:46:48 (5 stars): I have to admit I followed a tip from another of your recipes that after washing the rice put a pad of butter ( I used olive oil) and toast the quinoa for a couple of mins
And then I added 1, 3/4 cups water and some salt……
Turned out perfectly. Thank you
