18K likes, 220 comments - tillyramsay on March 22, 2026: "These salted chocolate chip cookies are INSANE 🤤🍪 Ingredients: - 225g salted butter (softened) - 120g granulated sugar - 130g light brown sugar - 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk - 2 tsp vanilla extract - 300g plain white flour - ½ tsp of baking soda - ½ tsp baking powder - ½ tsp fine sea salt - 200g dark chocolate (roughly chopped or bashed up) - Flaky sea salt to finish Method: - Cream the butter and both types sugar together for around 2 minutes until light and fluffy - Add in your egg and egg yolk along with your vanilla extract - Whilst mixing on a low speed slowly add in your flour, baking powder, baking soda and sea salt - Break up your chocolate into smaller chunks ( you can do this by bashing it with a rolling pin or by chopping it!) - Save a handful of chocolate to place on top of the cookies - Add in the rest of the chocolate to the mixing bowl - Shape your dough into round balls, I like to weigh mine to ensure they are all the same size (between 70 and 75g per cookie) - Place your extra chocolate chunks onto the top of each cookie - Chill your tray in the fridge for at least 2 hours (if in a rush you can freeze them for 30 minutes) - When ready to bake, spread your cookies out onto separate trays as they will spread out a lot! - Bake in a 180°c oven for 10 – 12 minutes (the edges should be golden but the centre should look glossy and soft) - Finish them with flaky sea salt".
