Melt the butter in a saucepan. โฃ 2. Whisk in flour, milk, pepper, dijon and nutmeg until sauce has thickened.โฃ 3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange bread slices. โ€จ4. Spread bechemel on each bread slice with a layer of bรฉchamel.โฃ 5. Top two pieces of bread with 2 slices of ham each, a handful of Emmental cheese, and a sprinkle of parmesan. Place other remaining slices of bread on top, bรฉchamel side up. Top with remaining cheese.โฃ 7.
