I thought any “serious” photographer should be shooting in RAW and processing their photos with full control. I was wrong. In 2021, I decided to give film simulations (and recipes) a fair shot. Fast forward to today, the recipes I use and shared have become some of the most popular recipes within the Fuji community 🙌🏽 If you’re looking for the perfect film simulation recipes for creating and documenting everyday, look no further. The color film simulation recipes are tuned specifically for melanated skin (for those who are tired of the overly orange skin in most other recipes). Note: I dial in the haze/dreaminess using Moment CineBloom filters or Urth Ethereal filters because the clarity adjustment adds to the processing time of the photos. Reggie’s Portra and HP5 work beautifully on all @fujifilmx_us X-Trans IV X-Trans V sensors (and even GFX).
