This is a weekly favorite of my kids and you can have it over whole grain or gluten free pasta or my favorite is to have it over rice. . . Recipe: *1 lb chopped mushrooms *2 tsp garlic powder *1 tsp onion powder *3 tbsp or more vegan worcheister sauce ( I get the @wholefoods brand) *cooked pasta or rice *chopped parsley for garnish *salt to taste if using *pepper to taste *For creaminess you can add some plain plant milk like soy milk , ( then thicken with water and cornstarch) or you can blend a 1/4 cup of cashews with a 1/4-1/3 cup water and make a cashew cream to add. Make as much cream sauce as you want. Water sauté mushrooms until soft, add onion powder and garlic powder then add the cashew cream or just add plant milk and you can thicken additionally with cornstarch and water or arrowroot powder. ( I’m lazy and just add plant milk if I don’t do the cashew cream). If you make cashew cream add that to the mushrooms then add some plant milk to make even more creamy. Top with chopped parsley and serve over hot pasta or hot rice.
