Amanda on 2026-09-17 (5 stars): My husband is the only one in our family who likes fish BUT i, my 6 year old and 8 month old allll loved this recipe. Obviously my husband did also, but when you have a 6 year old asking for seconds, you know its good!
Deanne on 2026-09-12 (5 stars): Thank you so much for this delicious recipe, Tieghan!! I love fish but am often disappointed in the recipes I have found online and used. This dish is the exception to the rule. I made some very minor changes. I didn't have enough basil, only a 1/2 T, so I used oregano for the other 1/2 T. In addition, I had some Old Bay Garlic and Herb butter that I used. The halibut was served over another recipe I found, Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic and Herbs. It was one of the best seafood meals I've made in a while.
Gretchen Kunde on 2026-09-04 (5 stars): I'm working at becoming a fish fan. It's never been my thing. In order to do that I need really good recipes. I had everything on hand for this which is why I tried it vs. some others in my google search. I had heard fish and cheese are not a match so I was a bit concerned. That may be true for other cheeses, but the parmesan was perfect. This was so delicious! It was beautiful on the plate as well. My husband and I took a bite at the same time, and we both did that "wow, this is really good" face followed by a yum. I completely overcooked the fish and it still got that reaction. Can't wait to try it again cooked properly. Kudos for a great recipe. I thank you for being a part of my journey to become a regular fish eater.
Shawn T. on 2026-08-23 (5 stars): Oh my goodness!! We just got back from an Alaskan fishing trip, and I found this recipe while searching for a baked halibut recipe. So delicious, crunchy, and juicy!! Thank you for this great recipe.
Vicki W. on 2026-08-21 (5 stars): I made this for dinner the other evening, and my husband (and the rest of us) loved it. He came out as I was gathering up the dishes and told me I'd made a "knockout" dinner"! We get Alaskan wild caught seafood delivered every other month, and I'll be using this recipe a lot. I'll bet it could be used with other fish as well? We get a variety of things including cod, salmon, etc. Thanks for a great recipe!
Kristi Cook on 2026-07-26 (5 stars): A friend brought us some halibut after a fishing trip in Alaska. I followed the recipe exactly and now I am the new favorite person in our family. It was perfect!
Carol Kuhn on 2026-07-26 (5 stars): This recipe is excellent! We just got home from a fishing trip at Yakutat Lodge Alaska so we have a lot of fish to eat!! And this recipe is one my husband requests more than any other!!
