Steps
1. Preheat the oven to 450° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or rub with oil.2. On the sheet pan, mix the chicken, garlic powder, pepper, and chile flakes. Add the flour and toss again. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil, tossing to coat. Arrange the chicken to one side of the baking sheet. Add the broccoli/asparagus to the other side. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.3. Meanwhile, make the sauce. In a bowl or glass jar, combine all ingredients.4. Remove the vegetables from the sheet pan. Then pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and toss the chicken up in the sauce. Bake for another 5 minutes, until the sauce is baked onto the chicken.5. Serve the chicken, vegetables, and honey garlic sauce with green onions and toasted sesame seeds. I love this over rice, but it's also great as an appetizer too!

Laura on 2026-09-21 (5 stars): This turned out delicious... with a couple of tweaks. I realised the chicken wasn't really crisping up in the oven and moved it to the airfryer halfway through (had to do this in batches). I had to add a lot more honey to the sauce as I found it very salty (less soy?), but that's personal taste I suppose. Overall, it was great... my kids loved it!

Laurie on 2026-09-05 (5 stars): My husband and kids and I absolutely loved this recipe. I cooked my chicken and broccoli is our traegar and added a few minutes cooking to make sure chicken was up to temp! Sauce was great and the broccoli was the cherry on top! Definetly recommend this!
Belle on 2026-08-26 (3 stars): The chicken was soupy and soggy. Way too spicy
Don on 2026-08-25 (5 stars): I substituted the broccoli for cauliflower
And the chicken for shrimp It was fantastic and I feel like it compliments better then chicken would have.
Kam on 2026-08-21 (5 stars): Love this! It’s a family favourite. Quick, easy and super tasty! It’s not that spicy. Not sure what everyone is complaining about. Maybe they bought the wrong type of paste.
