Steps

  1. Take green cap off dried peppers.
  2. Place peppers in spice grinder or blender and blend for 1 minute or more until you have some powder with some remaining flakes. CAUTION- open lid away from your face and be prepared to sneeze!
  3. Pour into a sieve over a bowl and shake to separate into powder and flakes.
  4. Use a funnel to pour into two separate containers, one for flakes and one for powder.
  5. Store in dark, dry cupboard for one year for maximum flavour. Will be safe to use indefinitely.
