Lisa E on 2024-12-13 (5 stars): I made this as written except for one detail. I used just one teaspoon of maple syrup instead of a tablespoon of honey. This is perfect! I am going to use this a lot. I will add a bit of gochujang next time. Thanks for this super duper simple and delicious sauce!
Margaret K Kozel on 2024-11-06 (5 stars): I pride myself on making healthy meals for my family. Stir fries have been a staple in that effort - tons of fresh veggies with just enough texture, over brown rice, with low sodium sauce. And then i tried this sauce. Wow. It is sooooo good and has elevated my stir fries to a family favorite.
Chef Jill Miranda on 2024-09-19 (5 stars): This is the BEST sauce and I dare say for more than stir-fry. I have struggled with making a good Asian sauce for a long time. I made this early in the day so the flavors could marry.... and when I went back to add the cornstarch and cook, about half was gone!! Family used it as a dip for egg rolls and spring rolls, not knowing what I had planned. FANTASTIC!! This is on top of my pile of recipes!!

Tina Wilson on 2024-08-13 (5 stars): My family loves this! I cooked two chicken breasts cut it into bite-size pieces and put it on the side and then I added, broccoli, mushroom, onion, green pepper, red pepper, and garlic. I also added salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. I added the chicken and made some rice on the side. It was delicious.
Mr. Bill on 2024-08-03 (5 stars): Sauce is great, and easy! I did make few tweaks however. I used half soy sauce and half teriyaki sauce, and lowered the sauce to water ratio to lower the sodium a bit. Added cornstarch to thicken an cooked it to a low simmer to melt the flavors, sauce was a little more clingy.
Fun sauce, lot's that can be done to customize.
Thanks!
Andrea Zelones on 2024-07-19 (5 stars): I LOVE this sauce. I've made it several times now. I make big batches and store it in the refrigerator for when I need it. Just remember to shake well before using. Works GREAT! Thanks for posting.
JD Fowler on 2024-05-19 (5 stars): Tried this a few months back and it received such a rave review from my guests that I've added it to my recipe book. Great with vegetables and pasta too!
Alisha on 2023-09-24 (5 stars): Made this sauce tonight for to go over beef and veggies! it was a hit, the hubby loved it! I will definitely be making this sauce again. I added some hot honey where it called for honey and a tablespoon of sugar to it, and it was delicious!
Becky Campbell on 2023-08-24 (5 stars): Becca, this was a huge hit for us!! My husband had been after me for some stir fry with our fresh shrimp, and this was the perfect match!!! I did use coconut aminos and a little Worcestershire. Also, he doesn’t care for sweet veggies, but it was still delicious without any sweetener!!! This will always be my go to stir fry method!!!!
Danielle on 2023-04-22 (5 stars): I found out at the last minute that my brother-in-law who is vegetarian was staying at our house. Had all the ingredients except sesame oil. Substituted for Mongolian oil. I added an extra teaspoon of honey to cut some of heat. Turned out perfectly and amazing! Very easy to follow and loved the canning jar method to shake the ingredients.Thank you again. Beautifully put together.
