Té de jengibre or ginger tea is one of our delicious Christmas traditions, when temperatures drop, and even in the Dominican Republic, we love a hot drink.

Tammy Ramos on 2020-04-19 (5 stars): I'm 14 and Puerto Rican and we make this a lot over there. I just wanted to say that you can put cloves, star anise, and obviously the ginger and cinnamon. It gives it a more complex flavor. Do be careful with the cinnamon though. If you leave it to infuse the flavor too much, it will overpower everything. My mother and I make this a lot. Delicious! I have never tried a recipe for this before, always my mother's way. I'm sure it tastes good which is why I gave it five stars. Enjoy!
