Fyonella on 2025-06-30 (5 stars): This is such a great idea. I love Runner Beans and have just made a batch of this Pesto. I think it may well replace my standard Basil Pesto.
I used Pine Nuts and used Aqua Faba rather than Olive Oil (as I usually do, to keep the calories down. It’s so, so tasty! My latest food obsession.
Thank you!
Sarah McEnnerney-Stevens on 2023-09-12 (5 stars): We have an allotment that is giving us huge gluts of runner beans so I was beyond happy I came across this recipe! Always looking for ways to utilise what we grow! It's our first year and this pesto is a winner!! Yummmmmm. I added some beetroot stalks/leaves as I had them handy and this was delicious. So tonight's dinner is a veggie pesto pasta with lots of diff coloured veggies we've grown- courgette, onion, tomato and yellow runners. It's going to be epic I think!!
Marcia Irving on 2023-04-15 (5 stars): Had to substitute lemon for white vinegar but turned out better than I had expected
Karsy on 2020-11-30 (5 stars): Lovely alternative to traditional pesto, I also added chives. Will be making this again.
