Steps
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F/ 180 degrees C. Rinse the berries and set aside. Grease your baking dish with butter and set aside.
In a deep mixing glass bowl, melt 1 stick of butter in the microwave.
To the melted butter, add 1 cup self rising flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup milk. Whisk till completely mixed and smooth.
Pour the mixed cobbler batter into your square greased baking dish (I used 8 by 8 inch) and sprinkle with blueberries. Sprinkle the coarse sugar on top and place it in the preheated oven.
Bake for 50-55 minutes till golden brown. Serve with a dollop of fresh whipped cream or ice-cream or just as-is.

Mary Ann on 2026-06-08 (5 stars): I make this for my husband and he says it’s the best blueberry cobbler ever!
Donna on 2026-05-17 (5 stars): This recipe is amazing! So easy and delicious. A blueberry lovers dream! Not too sweet but still decadent. I used good quality frozen blueberries and no problem at all. Used more berries than recipe called for just to finish off the package.I also had 9x9 pan which reduced the baking time a bit. You can make ahead and easily warm up for company. I added the pieces of butter on top just because I read the recipe wrong initially and melted the butter in the pan in oven (I confused this recipe with another similar recipe). So left butter in pan for greasing and topped off the batter and blueberries with remaining butter pieces. Very forgiving recipe!! Next time I will melt the butter and put it in the batter … But the alternative method also worked!! Of course served with icecream…

Deborah Parker on 2025-09-08 (5 stars): Have made this 2 or 3 times...always comes out perfectly...I use salted butter, and reduce salt amount called for in recipe. The Turbidano sugar is essential. Don't omit it! I won't ever need another recipe, it's that good!

BarbA on 2025-08-12 (5 stars): Nice, simple and easy recipe. I used vanilla sugar on top since I had a jar and I got to use up a bunch of very ripe blueberries. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty this fairly basic recipe was!
Ashley on 2025-08-03 (5 stars): My favorite blueberry cobbler recipe! My whole family enjoys this every time I make it!!

I made this Easy Blueberry Cobbler for a large group of friends during a weekend getaway (quadrupled the recipe) and served it with homemade vanilla ice cream. Every single person in the group couldn't stop raving about it.
I'll definitely be making this recipe again and again.
