Steps
Place the steak bites in a large bowl and mix in the salt, garlic powder, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and set aside for 15-30 minutes, or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
Heat a heavy bottom skillet (preferably a cast-iron pan) over high heat. Add the Avocado oil to the pan.
When the oil just starts to smoke, add 1/3 to half of the steak bites, being careful not to crowd the pan.
Let cook, stirring every 30 seconds to 1 minute, so all of the sides develop a brown crust.
Remove from the pan and continue with the rest of the steak bites.
Let the cooked steak bites rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Sherry on 2026-01-12 (5 stars): Came out delicious
Thx
1 question is can we overcook this & be tough and rubbery…
Stacie on 2025-12-21 (5 stars): It is wonderful! Half way through making this dish!
Did a 45 minute marinade.
When the third piece hit the heat, my cat, Percy was meowing and tugging my pants. He is a three bite Foodie!
So, this recipe is in rotation.
Thank you.
sheryl on 2025-08-19 (5 stars): ask a question can we put this in crockpot or not
Kathy on 2025-06-12 (4 stars): Looks easy.
Peter on 2024-12-06 (4 stars): This may be more of a user error more than anything else but I got my cast iron hot, added olive oil and almost burned down my apartment. I know you said to use avocado oil but I didn’t have that, so I went with the backup you suggested. I recommend giving people a warning this can happen. Especially since many amateur cooks like myself can view this recipe.
Sacah on 2024-10-08 (5 stars): We enjoyed every bite!!!
Anna on 2024-10-05 (5 stars): This was delicious! Thank you!
Anna on 2024-08-21 (5 stars): I loved this, but better, my husband loved it. The only thing I added was some red pepper in the marinade, as we like a little spice to our marinades. I marinaded 30 minutes for first batch for dinner. Second batch sat another 30 minutes in marinade and I cooked it after we ate for leftovers. My husband said he liked it even more. (Smelled so good he had to have a couple more pieces.)
James U Lenoir on 2023-08-11 (4 stars): What oil do you recommend using other than expensive avacado oil?
Freda Yannetti on 2022-11-01 (5 stars): Super simple, thank you.
Florence on 2022-07-04 (5 stars): Simple and delicious. I used 2 lb bone-in ribeye. Very tasty. Thank you for sharing
Heather Gileau on 2021-03-28 (5 stars): So tender and delicious and I used grass-fed beef which can tend to be tough if not done right. Fantastic!
Judy on 2021-01-28 (5 stars): Made these tonight with one small change, replaced the fresh garlic wit about a tablespoon of better than bouillon roasted garlic base with the soy & Worcestershire. They were amazing over fluffy rice but would be equally delicious over mashed potatoes or fries.
Tiffany on 2020-10-08 (5 stars): Very easy and tasty. Used fresh minced garlic instead. Delicious and kids loved it.
Lisa on 2020-09-08 (5 stars): Easy to make and tasted great!
Kathleen on 2020-04-29 (5 stars): I made these steak tips for dinner tonight for 6 people and everyone raved about them! SUPER easy, fast and yummy!
