Teddie on 2026-05-23 (5 stars): I made thisbut I added a onion, carrots, celery, potatoes and it came back devious! It's one of the easiest, best pot roast ever. Takes only a few minutes and its ready to cook all day. You'll lo e this and so will the family.
Danielle on 2026-05-20 (5 stars): Putting in a whole jar of banana peppers (juice and all) takes this recipe to another level. It does not make it too spicy, vinegary, or overpower it.
Cassie on 2026-05-09 (5 stars): This recipe is a household favorite. I usually turn it into sandwiches, using the sliced pepperoncini peppers for easier layering/eating. I serve it on soft French/hoagie rolls with provolone cheese, and add a homemade horseradish sauce for an extra kick. It’s always a hit!
Krystal on 2026-04-27 (5 stars): I have added a package of Lipton Onion Soup to your recipe and everyone raves over this.
Ralph Donald on 2026-04-25 (5 stars): Have never been a fan of roast until now. All I can say is WOW! This is now one of our favorite meals. Passed the recipe on to a friend that was looking for a good roast recipe and she makes it regularly now. Also love it with chicken. Thanks for this. Making it right now and adding baby potatoes for the first time
Katy on 2026-04-19 (5 stars): This is a hit in our house! All the kids eat it and that's rare lol. I sear both sides in the cast iron before putting it in the crockpot. I also add extra peperoncini and pour some of the juice in it. I love a little extra spice! It is FULL of flavor and so easy, you can't beat that. Love, love, love this recipe!
Sue on 2026-04-15 (5 stars): Delicious ! Everyone mopped their plates, my grandkids even ate the carrots and potatoes, too!
Kris on 2026-04-06 (5 stars): I kept the recipe the same but I added a half jars worth of pepperoncini juice to the mix and it changed the game. You get a pepper flavor without the heat. Magical. Absolutely magical.
Daniela on 2026-04-02 (5 stars): This recipe saved my marriage! lol this is now my husbands favorite
