Steps
Rinse the chickpeas really well in a sieve or colander then place in a food processor.
Add all of the other ingredients, starting with just ¼ cup of sugar. Blend thoroughly until completely smooth.
Taste and add more sugar to get it to the right sweetness for you. I use the full ½ cup. You can also add a few drops more milk to thin as necessary.
Spoon into a serving bowl.

Gayla on 2022-01-12 (5 stars): OMG. I've never enjoyed cleaning out the food processor more. :) This is amazing. And I even used navy beans instead. Cuz that's what I had. :)
Colleen Neymeyer on 2018-12-31 (5 stars): OMG this is delicious! What a great, tasty and healthy dessert to serve at parties or wherever. My husband was a bit doubtful when I told him what I was making, but the first taste made him a believer. I am finding myself imagining other ways to use this --- frosting between cookies maybe?
